Representative Matters
  • Represented a Chinese insurance company in handling disputes involving damages for ship collisions between m.v. “Tian Fu 22” and m.v. “Xin Long Yun 82”

  • Represented a Chinese insurance company in the compensation matter relating to the collision between m.v. “Yong An” and m.v “Shun Qiang 2” in Yangtze River which caused the deaths of 10 crew members

  • Represented a financial leasing company in certain ship financing matter (with loan amount of about RMB 200 million)

  • Represented a Chinese insurance company in handling collision of m.v. “MSC VENICE” with a port container crane (H-portainer)

  • Represented a large foreign shipping company in a series of legal actions in China for recovering stolen money by its own staff

  • Represented the hull underwriter, P&I club, and owners of m.v. “Beilun Sea Lion” in a collision accident with m.v. “Thor Energy”, which caused huge damage to both vessels

  • Represented a Chinese hull underwriter in handling the collision case of m.v. “Xu Yang 16” and m.v. “Heung-A Akita” in the Shandong Qingdao Port channel

  • Represented a state-owned bank in handling its letter of credit and loan dispute with Shanxi Haixin Iron and Steel International Trading Co., Ltd.

  • Represented a large Korean shipbuilder and advising in a series of contentious and non-contentious matters relating to the declaration of bankruptcy of its associated company STX(Dalian) Shipbuilding

  • Represented a Greek client and its P&I club for advising on a new building project which consisted of 4 bulkers with tonnage of 84,000 and would be carried out by a Chinese shipyard located in Nanjing China

  • Conducting an independent maritime accident investigation in Fiji Islands on the capsize of the tuna fishing boat “Rising No.26”

  • Advised the sale and purchase of the largest fish processing vessel “VIKTORIYA”

  • Represented the owners and hull underwriter in the collision accident between m.v. “Seiyo Star” and m.v. “Lu Rong Yu 1634”

  • Represented the owners and hull underwriter in the collision accident between m.v. “Gang Tong Hai 9” and m.v. “Pacific Garnet”

  • Represented the owners of m.v. “Long Charity” and her P&I club Gard for her grounding accident in South Africa

  • Represented a Chinese insurer in handling the grounding accident of m.v. “Long Charity” in Suez Canal
