Selected as One of the "Ten Best Labor Attorneys of Beijing"

On the purpose of establishing the model of Beijing lawyers, and demonstrating the image of excellent attorneys, recently, Beijing lawyers' Association and Beijing Evening newspaper co-held an activity of selecting the "Beijing Best Labor attorneys" and "Beijing Best Marriage and Family attorneys". Su Wenwei, Partner of DeHeng Law Offices, was selected as one of the "Ten Best Labor Attorneys of Beijing".


Ms. Su is the secretary-general of labor and social security committee of National lawyers' Association, and the executive member of Beijing labor and social security law academy, the arbitrator of Beijing labor and staffing dispute arbitration committee, and also the legislation consultant expert of Beijing NPC.

 

Ms. Su has over ten years' practice experience in the field of labor law. She is veteran in dealing with the corporate labor affairs, like drafting the recruitment process documents and the regulations, precaution of the legal risk of human resource management, mediating the labor dispute, especially the labor dispatching, competitive restriction, and lay off cases.

 

This activity lasted one and a half month, all the candidates have to practice more than five years in Beijing, have outstanding performance in the fields of labor law or marriage law, and have no administrative penalty or punishment in the past 5 years.

Beijing lawyers' Association especially established the selecting committee. The judges' group includes the president and secretary general of the Beijing Lawyers' Association, expert lawyers, senior judges, and famous scholars from law schools. Beijing Evening Newspaper, representing the media group, also joined in this activity.

 

The judges made initial selection based on the candidates' basic information, and chose 20 from them. These 20 candidates have to made speeches one by one, present personal performance, and answer the judges' questions.

Significantly, the interview section is as rigorous as the thesis defense. The judges asked academic questions or took out complex living examples to examine the lawyers' professional level, intellectual response ability and their practice manner. The whole appraisal process was open and transparent. 

 

Finally, ten "Best Labor Attorneys", and ten "Best Marriage and Family Attorneys" were selected by the judges. Other 20 candidates were awarded the honor of "Excellent Labor Attorneys" and "Excellent Marriage and Family Attorneys".
