Wang Jian, DeHeng partner in the Chongqing office, recently flew to Turkey to present the legal issues related to the Derun Laos Company Nanteng No. 1 Primeval Forest Private Equity Fund Project.

Derun Laos Company will use a suite of customized technology developed by Australian IDA Co. Ltd to integrate blockchain, artificial intelligence, and IoT technologies for the development and management of its virgin forest project in Bolikhamsai, Laos. As part of the country's renewable energy strategy development (2011–2025), Derun Laos Company obtained the rights of logging and disposal from the Lao government for an area of 9,400 hectares of virgin forest, and will raze the flood storage basin to provide power for the forthcoming Nantong Hydropower No. 1 Dam.

DeHeng Lawyers from the Chongqing office provided a full range of services for the Derun Laos Company Nanteng No. 1 Primeval Forest Private Equity Fund Project. This is one of 17 infrastructure projects undertaken by the Chinese government to aid the Lao people, and these projects symbolize the friendship between China and Laos from generation to generation. Turkey is the first stop of the global road-show for this private equity project.
