DeHeng Advised the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Delegations on Their Participation in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics

Following the successful completion of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games, the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympic Games proceeded smoothly. Recently DeHeng received a thank-you letter and souvenirs from the Canadian Olympic Committee to express its gratitude and high appreciation for the professional legal services provided by DeHeng before and after the Games.

In preparation for the Beijing 2022 Games, the Canadian Olympic Committee and Canadian Paralympic Committee took the initiative to contact DeHeng. After friendly communication and consultation, they signed a legal counsel agreement with DeHeng to entrust DeHeng lawyers to advise the athletes, coaches and accompanying staffs of the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic delegations in such areas as the sports law, administrative law, international law, entry and exit, intellectual property rights, and dispute resolution. 

This was another contribution made by DeHeng, a Chinese-brand law firm and the legal counsel of the Olympic Preparation Office of the Chinese Olympic Committee, to building a community with a shared future for mankind by serving international sport events. This was the first time for DeHeng to act as the legal counsel for an overseas Olympic delegation. 

With the strong support of the competent department and senior officials, DeHeng established a cross-disciplinary legal team, with primary support from partners Wang Jianwen, and lawyers Chen Xiongfei, Chen Xiao, Xu Kai, Wang Lingfang, Liu Di and Gao Jie as the main members. DeHeng team provided comprehensive round-the-clock legal services to the Canadian delegations.
