DeHeng College of Lawyers
In 1993, DeHeng Law Offices jointly founded the DeHeng College of Lawyers with Jilin University, one of the top universities in P. R. China. The DeHeng College of Lawyers is the first full-time higher-education institution designed specifically to train Chinese and foreign practicing lawyers in P. R. China,admitting both undergraduate and graduate students. The college's curriculum, textbooks, and teaching methods are innovative to the extent that they have attracted the attention of leading Chinese legal and educational experts. For its contributions, DeHeng College was supported by the World Bank "China Legal, Economic, and Technology Assistance Fund" in 1996. In the same year, the "DeHeng Scholarship" was set up to encourage academic excellence. Since 1998, many of our students have passed the China National Bar Examination before graduation. The college is an excellent resource for DeHeng and contributes to the advancement of the legal profession of P. R. China.
