Introduction Founded in 1993, DeHeng Law Office (previously China Law Office) is one of the largest law firms in P. R. China. It was officially approved by the Ministry of Justice of P. R. China and was later transformed into a global partnership with offices in China and other jurisdictions. The majority have graduated from well-known Chinese universities and many lawyers hold law degrees conferred upon them by universities in the western countries. Most of our lawyers are experts in specific areas of law. Before joining DeHeng, some lawyers have worked with large international law firms, as well as government agencies in Europe or the US. Many of our lawyers were previously officials of the Ministry of Justice or judges of high courts, including the Supreme Court of P. R. China. Qualification DeHeng Law Office is one of the few law firms in China qualified in a number of areas requiring special government licenses. DeHeng has established DeHeng Civil and Commercial Law Forum with Renmin University of China,DeHeng Criminal Law Forum with Beijing University, DeHeng Comparative Law Forum with Tsinghua University，DeHeng Legal Scholar Forum with Jilin University and several other forums. DeHeng lawyers attended the UN World Summit on Sustainable Development in South Africa and joined in a bankruptcy Practices Study by World Bank, Harvard University and International Lawyers Association. Our lawyers have published a large number of books, including Comparative Study on Lawyer Criminal Liability, Contract Liability Study and US Banking Law.The book, Anti-Dumping Laws of WTO/GATT and EC is under publication in Europe.
